The approvals add to the strength of one of Bihar's principal constitutional courts and follow the standard collegium process for elevation from the Bar.

Outcome
The Supreme Court Collegium approved all nine proposals on 26 February 2026. Formal appointment to the High Court of Judicature at Patna follows upon completion of the constitutional process, including the issuance of warrants of appointment by the President of India.
